What coaching is
Restoration Enterprises Limited provides financial coaching, guidance and education. The work is about your position, your priorities and the habits that follow from them. It leaves every decision with you.
What we can do
- Help you build a picture of your income, outgoings, debts and savings that you actually recognise.
- Work through a budget with you and keep you company while it beds in.
- Explain in general terms how things work: how compound interest punishes you on a credit card and rewards you in a savings account, what an emergency fund is for, what a workplace pension contribution does, how the different types of debt solution broadly differ.
- Help you weigh up your own priorities, decide what matters most, and set goals you can hold on to.
- Prepare you for a conversation with a firm, a lender or your employer, so you go in knowing what to ask.
- Coach you on career direction, progression, interviews and pay conversations.
What we cannot do
- Tell you which pension, fund, ISA, insurance policy, mortgage or loan to take out, keep, switch or cash in.
- Tell you whether to transfer a pension, consolidate a debt, remortgage, or enter a particular formal debt solution.
- Give you a personal recommendation on any specific product from any specific provider.
- Arrange, buy, sell or manage anything on your behalf.
- Tell you what a product will be worth, or what a market will do.
If an honest answer to your question would amount to naming one particular product from one particular provider as the right one for you, that is outside what coaching does. We will say so plainly in the session, and point you to someone who can help.
Free, impartial help
You do not have to pay anyone (including us) to get good help with money. These organisations are free, independent and well established. If your situation calls for one of them, we would rather you went there.
- MoneyHelper: Free and impartial money guidance, backed by the UK government.
- Citizens Advice: Free, confidential help with debt, benefits, housing and employment.
- StepChange Debt Charity: Free debt help and managed debt solutions.
- National Debtline: Free, independent debt advice by phone and online.
If you are in immediate financial crisis (you cannot afford food, you are facing eviction or bailiff action, or your energy is about to be cut off), contact Citizens Advice or StepChange today rather than booking coaching with us. Those situations need specialist casework, and it is free.
If something goes wrong: complaints
If any part of your experience with us falls short, please tell us. We would much rather hear it directly and put it right.
Contact us:
- Email: sunday.restorationenterprises@gmail.com
- Telephone: +44 7464 939852
- Post: Restoration Enterprises Limited, 13 Bristowe Drive, Orsett, Grays, RM16 3DB, United Kingdom
What happens next:
- Raise it with your coach, directly. Most things are a misunderstanding about what coaching can do, or something we got wrong and would fix on the spot if we knew. Say it in a session or in an email. Nothing about your programme changes because you complained.
- If that does not resolve it, put it in writing to sunday.restorationenterprises@gmail.com, or by post to the registered office above. Tell us what happened, when, and what you would like us to do about it.
- We acknowledge it within 5 working days and give you a full written response within 20 working days: what we found, whether we agree, and what we are doing about it. If it needs longer than that, we will tell you before the 20 days are up and give you a date. Complaints are looked into by Clement Sunday Jegede. He is the founder and, in a practice this size, usually the person the complaint is about. If you would rather it were considered by someone independent, say so and we will agree a reviewer with you and pay for it.
- If you are still not satisfied. Being straight with you: there is no ombudsman scheme that covers coaching, so none can look at a complaint about ours. Your route from here is the courts, where the small claims track handles most disputes of this size without a solicitor. If we later join a professional coaching body with its own complaints scheme, that body would be another route. We are not a member of one today, and we will say so on this page the moment that changes. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and your rights under data protection law are unaffected either way.
A complaint about how we have handled your personal data is different, and has a regulator behind it: see the privacy notice, which sets out our process and your right to go to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
For employer-commissioned programmes, the commissioning organisation may also raise a complaint through the same route. Individual session content is never disclosed as part of that process.
No guarantee of outcomes
Coaching supports your decisions. It does not guarantee a financial result. We cannot promise that you will clear a particular debt, save a particular amount, reach a particular goal by a particular date, or get the job or the pay rise. What happens depends on your circumstances, the choices you make, and a fair amount of life that neither of us controls.
Everything we cover with you is general information and coaching support, not a personal recommendation. Any decision you take, and its consequences, remain yours. Some decisions are significant: a pension, a property, a formal debt solution, anything with tax consequences. Where that is the case, please take regulated advice from an authorised firm or speak to one of the free services listed above before you act.
